Support promised
The Minister of Transport (Mr McLachlan) has promised to support the application of the Paraplegics Athletics Movement for Government assistance to enable it to send a team to the world games for the disabled in Canada. Opening the national paraplegic games at Bumham Military Camp on Saturday, he said he would do all in his power to ensure the application got a favourable hearing.
