(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) BRISBANE New Zealand girls and boys under 16 teams contesting the Wayne Reid Cups at the interstate teams tennis championships met with mixed fortunes yesterday. The boys’ team, led by Da\ id Patterson, broke through for their first win of the series, a 3-0 result against Tasmania. The Tasmanian team hag lost all six matches.

Girls under 16.—Tasmania 2. New Zealand 1 (K. Byrne beat D. Lcat. 6-3, 6-0; J. Smart beat A. Rolleston. 6-4, 7-5; K Byrne and R. McShane lost to G. Robinson and A. Rolleston. 3-6, 0-6.
