<X.Z. Press Association) ; WELLINGTON'. Conditions of entry to teachers’ colleges for ' 1977 were being reviewed, the divisional director of personnel for the Department of Education (Mr P. K. Munn) said. Representatives of teachers’ college councils, teacheremploying authorities, and teacher and student organisations met Education Department officers last week to discuss entry conditions, and another meeting is planned for mid-December, Mr Munn said in a statement. The review followed the decision to introduce the standard tertiary bursary | next year as an alternative: to student teacher allow-; ances. "Proposals on future terms of membership for student teachers in the Government superannuation scheme have already been submitted to the department for study.” Mr Munn said. “Further papers on the cash value of the bursary needed to recruit highcalibre student teachers, and .on the question of' teacher bonding, will be submitted soon.” 1
