SPACE 'WAS BOOKED'
Far from making a lastminute advertising! effort, as suggested by the Prime Minister, the National Party had booked newspaper advertising well in advance for the last week of its election campaign, the Leader of the National Party (Mr Mui-1 doon) said. The copv for this advertising was written during the campaign, he said. The Prime Minister’s tele-! vision commercial had been remade after he! had been campaigning! for a week. Mr Muldoon! said. This had been done! hastily, when it was felt ! that the original tele-1 vision advertising was not, “coming over.”
