Press Association) AUCKLAND. The retired New Zealand driver, Paul Fahey, has accused Australian drivers of
sour grapes because our drivers have been beating them on their own circuits.
They are enforcing for the first time a regulation which will make Fahey’s Ford Capri less competitive in supporting races at the Australian Grand Prix meeting at Surfer's Paradise next week-end. The capri will be driven by the New Zealand Formula Ford champion. Grant) Walker.
Because of the regulation . Fahey has had to spend) SlOOO on new wheels and tyres for the car. The tyres.! which are narrower than the; Capri uses in New' Zealand,! i will make the car slower! j and give the Australians a 1 better chance of beating it. I
