England not impressive

The England Rugby league team beat Southern Division, 19-8, at Gosford, New South Wales, on Saturday in the final preparation game for its match against New Zealand in Auckland next week-end. England, which failed to impress, won mainly through the efforts of the second-row forwards. John Martin and Phil Cookson, who each scored a try.
