Mr Ingham ‘very ill'
(From CHARLES COOPER) LONDON, June 15.
After a week in an intensive care unit of a London hospital, a New Zealand farm expert suspected of having rabies is still “very seriously ill.” He is Mr Vai S. Ingham, aged 37, of Auckland, who was flown from Gambia when he developed rabies symptoms six weeks after being bitten by a stray dog'.
Scientists of the National Health Service’s virus laboratory in north London have now undertaken analysis of Mr Ingham’s disease and their report is expected tomorrow.
