Timber sales to Japan
(N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA, Feb. 24. The Waipa State sawmill will soon resume export orders to Japan as part of a concentrated export sales drive. The general manager of the mill (Mr A. W. Oakley) said the shipments next month would be two million board feet. Mr Oakley is optimistic that the $2.5m yield from export sales last year can be 1 achieved again this year.
