Man sent for trial
(N.Z. Press Association) TIMARU, Feb. 21. A 69-year-old retired Timaru secondary school teacher today pleaded not guilty to a charge of murdering his 67-year-o!d wife at their home in Hatton Street, Timaru, on January 27. Lindley Kennedy Murray appeared in the Timaru Magistrate’s Court. Depositions were taken from 10 prosecution witnesses. Murray was remanded by Mr J. D. Kinder, S.M., for trial in the Supreme Court o n March 3. In the meantime, will be detained for further *• ervation at Sunnyside hospital. Mr M. C. Gresson, with him Mr T. M. Gresson, appeared for the Crown, and Mr E. W. Unwin represented Murray.
