Turi-1 progress
Shell B.P. and Todd Oil I Services. Ltd. say that a 3ft| hole had been drilled to; 484 ft, and a 30inch con-1 ductor cemented to the! I seabed on the site of the! Turi-1 well off Awakino. The; next task for the crew of; the Penrod 74 rig. which is i drilling the well in 190 ft of! water, will be to “run” the blowout preventers and; “drill ahead.”
