WARNING TO THEOLOGIAN

The Vatican has issued a sternly-worded warning to the Swiss-born Roman i Catholic theologian, Dr Hans 'Kueng, against teaching un- ‘ orthodox religious views but lit has taken no disciplinary •action against him. i Observers said the document, which judged Dr Kueng to be in “severe error” on three main points of official Church doctnne, was the toughest Vatican statement so far in a long campaign against the Professor of Theology at Tuebingen University, West Germany.
