Approval in general terms was given by the Paparua County Council last evening to the South Island Zoological Society’s proposals for dr-veloping 40 acres of its 200-acre Orana Park wild-life reserve at McLean’s Island The council adopted a report from a town-planning sub-committee which las' week heard submissions.
