Regional league leaders

Rangers and Caversham are I striding away with the northern and southern sections of the 1974 Southern League soccer competition. But they' have got into their present dominant positions in different fashions.

While Rangers were scraping together a 1-0 victory over Halswell United, with a goal scored by M. Parker after only tour minutes. Caversham overwhelmed Queen’s Park, 7-0.
