League side to tour N.Z.
(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) SYDNEY. The New South Wales Country selectors have chosen 10 new' players in the Rugby league team to make a three-match tour of New Zealand next week. The team of nine backs and nine forwards will leave on Saturday.
K. Thompson, of Corrimal, is the only member to have toured New Zealand; he was in the 1970 Country side. •
The team consists principally of young players, with a few seasoned members to add experience. Among the notables are the former internationals, J. Morgan, J. Greaves, and M. Cronin, who had a sensational tour with the Australian team last year. The matches will be against Canterbury at Christchurch on Sunday, Wellington on Wednesday', and Auckland on May 11. The tourists are: A. McMahon, M. Bickley, I. Drew, B. Burke (captain), J Greaves, R. Starr. K. Myers, J. Penno, M. Cronin, P. Howlett, J. Jones, J. Donnelly, D. Morion, R. Irving, K. Thompson. J. Morgan, B. Wilson, C. Bennett.
