Miss Haden fourth
I i'X Z P A.-Reuter—Copyright» PRETORIA. The New Zealand athletes, Miss S. Haden and M. Cheater, were fourth and fifth, respectively, in an international athletics meeting at Pretoria on Saturday. Miss Haden competed in the women’s 800 metres and clocked 2min 6.B9sec. The race was won by the West German, G. Ellenberger-Klein, in 2min 3.9 sec. Cheater hurled the hammer 62.90 metres, compared with the winning throw of 88.98 metres by the Briton, H. Payne.
