Lifeboats out at Sumner
The Sumner lifeboats, Resicue 111 and Cranleigh Barton, put to sea after a police i patrol reported seeing a light(coloured object about half a mile off-shore from the Brighton Surf Club last evening. A surfer on a surf ski went to investigate, but it was too dark for him to see, and the search by the lifeboats also was unsuccessful.
