Kingston Flyer shed burnt
(N.Z. Press Association) GORE, Jan. 29
The Kingston Flyer is now without a home because its engine-shed at Lumsden was razed yesterday afternoon. The Lumsden station master (Mr A. B. Bartlett) said it was not known how the fire began, but this was being investigated. No engines were at the station at the time of the fire. The Lumsden Volunteer Fire Brigade spent about an hour fighting the fire. The Flyer will be left outside until another building is completed.
