Goods yard expansion

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 15. Plans to alter and extend the Dunedin railway goods yard, to enable more efficient loading were announced today by the Minister of Railways (Mr McGuigan). ] The Government has approved the expenditure of $597,000 to enable the regrouping of handling facilities and the transfer of outward loading to a four-acre site on the other side of the marshalling yards, said Mr McGuigan.
