Journalist ban
Some team managers have complained that competitors are being harassed by journalists. “It is only a minority of the press which is at fault,” said Mr Scott, “but there were instances at Queen Elizabeth II Park on Monday of runners being stopped in the middle of complicated routines and asked for interviews.” Mr Scott said that persistent press offenders might have their accreditation invalidated, and all journalists have been banned from the competition area of Queen Elizabeth II Park.
