KUALA LUMPUR, January 14. The Japanese Prime Minister (Mr Tanaka) began talks today with his Malaysian counterpart (Tun Abdul Razak), and Malaysian Government officials say that Tun Razak was expected to ask for a third yen credit and a lowering of duties and quotas, to enable Malaysia to export more to Japan, and thus to narrow the trade balance in favour of Japan.
