Celevale Van entered
"The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND. The top-class Australian pacer, Celevale Van, has been nominated for the Auckland Trotting Cup at Alexandra Park on December 29. The entry was made by the horse’s trainer. C. J. Parsons, of Bankstown, Sydney, in a letter to the Auckland Trotting Club secretary, Mr J. F. Patterson. It is the second time Celevale Van has been entered for the big Alexandra Park two miler. Parsons entered both Celevale Van and Bay Foyle for the race in 1971. Bay Foyle duly came to New Zealand in October that year and contested the New Zealand Cup and other races before racing at Alexandra Park.
