FIVE GREEKS GAOLED

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) ATHENS, Nov. 14. An Athens Civil Court has sentenced five Greeks to prison terms ranging from six months to two years on charges of causing bodily harm and insulting the authorities during a demonstration in Athens. The president of the court had refused to allow the defence lawyers to show a film, allegedly of violent police action against the demonstrators, but he agreed to consider a series of 15 photographs from the film. After distributing the pictures to photographers, the defence lawyers walked out. The pictures, some of which have been published in newspapers, showed policemen kicking and trampling demonstrators on the ground. The court acquitted 12 other defendants. Starfighter crash A Starfighter jet of the Belgian Air Force crashed into a house today, and police say they believed two occupants of the house are still trapped in the rubble. The bodies of the pilot, a man and a child, have been recovered. — Borwede (West Germany), Nov. 14.
