ENGLAND TOUR
Second test in Clich (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The England Rugby league team will make an eightmatch tour of New Zealand next year, with the first and third tests being played in Auckland and the second in Christchurch. The New Zealand Rugby League received a letter from the secretary of the England League, Mr W. Fallowfield, yesterday outlining a proposed itinerary. The England team will arrive in New Zealand from what is certain to be a tough Australian tour. It plays the third, and final, test against the Kangaroos on July 20, four days before opening its New Zealand tour, against North Island Country. The other tests in Australia will be at Brisbane on June 15 and in Sydney on July 6. The tour will open in Perth on May 26. The itinerary in New Zealand is: July 24: North Island Country. Huntly: 27: first test. Auckland: 30: N.Z. Maoris, Rotorua. August 1: Wellington; 4: second test, Christchurch; 6: South Island, Greymouth; 10: third test. Auckland: 13: Auckland.
