TOMBSTONE ‘SENTENCE’
(N.Z P A .-Reuter —Copyright) «PHOENIX. March 30. A judge has “sentenced” a doctor to serve the people of Tombstone, an historic Western cowboy town, for seven years — or go to prison. He must devote one-third of his professional services to charity. Dr Patrick Lorey, aged 34, of Tombstone, was “sentenced” to seven years service for selling dangerous drugs. He was arrested for selling 50 vials of liquid amphetamine to narcotics agents. Prominent citizens testified that they wanted Dr ! Lorey to stay in Tombstone i (population 1240). The town | would be doctorless if he left, lit was said.
