No jump intended
Two men on top of the Manchester Unity Building at the corner of Manchester and Worcester streets about 5 jp.m. yesterday caused the [police, fire brigade and ambulance to be called out when a passerby thought they were going to jump. However, the men were members of the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation staff recording sound effects from the city below and they had no intention of jumping in spite of the fact that a member of the Los Angeles Hell Drivers team had made a successful jump earlier in the afternoon.
