All Black in league

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. A former All Black wing, P. Clarke, will play Rugby league for the Newcastle Western Suburbs club against a Sydney team in a trial match on Saturday. Clarke, who has been living in Newcastle since 1969, played for the local Rugby club in 1969, but has been out of football since the end of that season when he broke his jaw. He was a member of the successful 1967-68 All Black side which toured Great Britain and France. He also toured Australia with the All Blacks in 1968.
