NEW MOVE ON CHINA
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) TOKYO. The Japan Olympic Committee has decided to appeal to various international sports organisations for their support to bring China into international sport. Last year, the J.O.C. said that it would no longer support Taiwan in sport, but would recognise the AllChina Sports Federation as the only legitimate sports body to represent China. At its general assembly this week it decided to implement this with a written appeal to the International Olympic Committee, national Olympic committees, international federations, members of the Asian Games Federation and the International Federation of University Sports.
