Lamb target unchanged
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 6. The target for diversifying lamb from the United Kingdom for the 1972-73 season is unchanged—22 per cent of the export total, says the Meat Board, which- has accepted the recommendation of the Market Development Committee, a statutory body. The same conditions as last season will also apply: there will be a penalty of 2.5 c per pound on the short fall of any exporter and a bonus of 0.25 c per lb will be paid for quantities diversified in excess of the target.
