National In’ce record profit
The net profit of the National Insurance Company of New Zealand, Ltd, rose by $203,347 or 18.4 per cent to $1,307,909, in the year to August 31, the directors say in a preliminary report.
The profit, which comes after a similar increase last year, is a record for the company. A final ordinary dividend of 12c a share (12 per cent), making a steady 18 per cent for the year, will be paid on December 11, ex dividend December 1.
