AMBULANCE BUSIER
Members of the St John Ambulance Association attended 2462 patients last month, and covered 17,051 miles — 2040 miles more than in October, 1971.
They attended 131 motor accidents, compared with 111 in September, and 95 in October last year. Patients from these totalled 184 last month, consistently higher than for September (143), and October, 1971 (136). Miscellaneous accidents dealt with by the association were 112 in October, 1972; 125 in September, 1972; and 123 in October, 1971.
