Driving plans uncertain

Driving arrangements for the stablemates Royal Ascot and Manaroa in next Tuesday’s New Zealand Cup have not been settled. However, their trainer, C. J. McLaughlin, said last evening that he thought he would drive Manaroa and A. M. Harrison Royal Ascot, which drive Harrison preferred. McLaughlin plans to drive Manaroa In the trials at Addington today before making a final decision.
