BOLD DAVID INJURED
(N.Z. Press Association) MELBOURNE. The 1970 Inter-Dominion Championship Grand Final winner, Bold David, which broke a bone in his leg in a race at Kilmore on Monday night, will not have to be destroyed, according to his trainer, A. Simons. “The veterinary surgeon told me there is every chance the bone will knit,” he said. Bold David was only $250 short of earning $lOO,OOO in stake money before he broke down.
