Melbourne Cup telecast
Arrangements are in hand to relay the live telecast of the Melbourne Cup through the cloeed-circuH television screens at Addington Raceway next Tuesday.
The Melbourne Cup will be run at about 3.43 p.m. and there would be 11 points about the course where patrons could wateh the Flemington race, said the secretary-manager of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club (Mr O. C. Parker) yesterday. It was expected that the Melbourne Cup would be completed some mi sutes before the Empire Handicap at Addington, which Is due to start at 4 p.m.
