P. Impey profit 12 p.c. higher
AUCKLAND, Nov. 1. Phillipps and Impey Ltd, paint, glass and wallpaper merchant, increased net profit by $38,738 or 11.9 per cent, to $365,417 in the year to August 31, the directors say in a preliminary report. The dividend had been held at last year’s higher rate of 12! per cent, with a final 7| per cent payable on December 11, ex dividend November 24. The final pay-out will be tax-free in shareholders’ hands.
