Botanic Gardens car park
Sir, —I heartily endorse “Dusty Pollution’s” description of the Riccarton Avenue car park. The public can tolerate the pot-holes, but surely the City Council could lay that shocking dust by spraying the offending area with a light oil from time to time. This would make the car park habitable once more. —Yours, etc., HERE’S HOPING. October 31, 1972.
