CREDITORS MEET
I At a meeting of creditors yesterday, Martin Joseph j Patrick Mullaly, aged 49, uniemployed, of Peraki Street. iKaiapoi, claimed that he had paid domestic debts at the expense of those which had led to his bankruptcy. His | statement of affairs showed that he owed $2BB and his (only asset was a camera i worth $6. He admitted to the Deputy (Official Assignee (Mr L. Anderson) that his own failings and mismanagement were further cause of his bankruptcy. Mr Mullaly said he had not worked for four years but his wife worked and earned $32 a week. Mr Anderson said that his present bankruptcy was similar to his other of five years ago when he had seven creditors to whom he owed $244. The meeting closed without any resolutions.
