(N.Z.P A .-Reuter—Copyright) REYKJAVIK, Oct. 31. Icelandic gunboats have failed to drive off British trawlers which sought shelter close inshore from hurricaneforce winds and raging seas. The Coast Guard reported on Sunday that its vessels unsuccessfully tried to chase away a group of 15 trawlers 'who refused to budge from their shelter in Isafjord Bay. The Coast Guard said that the vessels were later instructed to leave the trawlers I in peace.
