The Olympic runner, R Tayier, of Dunedin, gave yef another brilliant performance on Saturday to win the Win< stone South Island marathot for the third year in succesi sion.
Tayier ran the course fron Riverton to Invercargill ii 2hr 16min 47sec compare! with his winning time of 2hj 20min 35sec last year. Other placings were: Moir. 2:23:9, 2; N. Tumel 2:24:16, 3.
