Show riders turn pro.
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON.
Four of the world’s top show jumpers have decided to turn professional and form a riding circus. Harvey Smith (Britain), Raimondo D’lnzeo (Italy), Alwin Schockemohle (West Germany) and Nelson Pessoa (Brazil) will be managed by the theatrical agent, Mr John Marshall, who handles the affairs of the film star, Richard Harris, and the Danish singer, Nina.
The circus was formed after the decision of the International Equestrian Sports Federation to ban commercial sponsorship in show jumping.
