Trist not certain of future
The former New Zealand fast bowler, D. G. Trist, is still uncertain about his bowling prospects in cricket fixtures this season. The back injury which forced him to return from the West Indies earlier this year is giving him bother and he is playing second grade cricket as a batsman for the present round of the inter-club competition. “I will be discussing the injury with a specialist on Wednesday. Like Graham Dowling, I will just take it as it comes,” Trist said last evening.
If he were unable to bowl this season, he would concentrate on his batting.
