Panzer Chief wins well
(N.Z. Press Association) TE AROHA. The Battle Waggon gelding, Panzer Chief, has scored another impressive win in America. His part-owner, Mr F. D. Moran, was informed by telephone yesterday that Panzer Chief raced about eight lengths off the pace in a mile event at Hollywood Park, and then went clear in the straight to win by three lengths and a half in a time only one-fifth of a second outside the track record for the. distance.
