Soft Whisper retired
"The Press” Special Service CAMBRIDGE. The well-bred mare, Soft Whisper, which was raced lightly but was a winner at Rotorua last year, has been retired. Soft Whisper’s Cambridge owner. Mr W. B. Moreland, said that the mare would go south to be mated with Mellay. Soft Whisper, which is by Persian Garden II out of the former fine race mare, Sweet Wren, is a half-sister to the winner, Quiet Talk, and comes from the family which produced the fine mares, Najml and Great Rose.
