Rugby players in relay
Eight players from the teams to contest the Commonwealth Games benefit Rugby match on Sunday will compete in the relay, each team providing four players whose names will be announced today, at the South Island indoor athletics meeting at Canterbury Court this evening. There will also be a “personality” race and starters listed so far are the chairman of the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (Mr R. S. Scott) and the Rev. R. A. Lowe.
