Tennis grades completed
The Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association's competitions have been completed for the season by the announcement of the laat two grade winners. Both the first mixed B and second mixed grades were unable to complete their draws before Easter so the competitions committee met and declared Barrington to have won first mixed B and Spreydon to have won second mixed. These teams were: Barrington.—P. Wright, D. McClure. P. Bobby, J. Storey, K. Lewis; Miss A. Howman. Mrs B. Marshall, Miss L. Lewis, Miss D. Goddard. Spreydon.—G. Templeton, C. Taylor, K. Bloomfield, B. Smith, G. Haywood; Misses L. Swanson, E. Taylor, R. Pope, M. Holmes.
