Three men injured
Three men were injured, one seriously, when the car they were in failed to take the bend at the Papanui Road roundabout and hit a pole about 10.10 pm. yesterday. Mr A. Campbell, whose address was given as 10 Main North Roard, and Mr Clyde Curry, of 78 Tuckers Road, suffered concussion and lacerations and were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Their condition was not available this morning.
Police were this morning trying to identify the third man and inform his next-of-kin of the accident He suffered serious injuries for which he was being treated at Christchurch Hospital.
