Yacht trials postponed
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The first heats in the Olympic yachting trials, scheduled for Torbay yesterday, were postponed because of rough weather. High winds, rough seas, heavy rain and minimal visibility caused the cancellation. The heats, for Dragons, Soling, Flying Dutchmen and Finn classes will be rescheduled for later in the seven-race trial series, which is due to finish next week.
