Motorist killed
. man was killed and two persons injured when two cars collided at the intersection of Hereford Street and OUivers Road on Friday night. The man killed was
Afanasif Vshivkoff, aged 38, of Annat, the driver of one of the cars.
Those injured are Nicolei Vshivkov, aged 12, of Annat, and David William Nicholson, aged 19, of 85 Tomes Road, Papanui. Nicolei Vshivkov suffered head injuries and shock. His candition in the Princess Margaret Hospital yesterday was reported to be quite comfortable, and improving. Mr Nicholson, who suffered head, leg, and arm injuries, was discharged from the Princess Margaret Hospital yesterday.
