Property sales
Peak Hill, 4660 acres of pastoral lease at Lake Coleridge. was passed in at auction on Friday. The property, which carries 2700 sheep and 514 cattle, has a Government valuation of $87,400, and was passed in at $66,000. The auctioneer was Mr G. May, of the New Zealand Farmers Co-operative Association, Ltd. In another auction, 14 acres 37 perches of land at the comer of Philpotts and Winters Roads, Mairehau, was passed in at $19,000. The Government valuation is $lB,OOO. These prices were incorrectly given in a report of the auctions in “The Press” on Saturday,
