Cows die in storm
(N.Z. Press Associations WANGANUI, Sept. I, An electrical storm in the Wanganui area on Tuesday night apparently caused the death of 10 dairy cows on a farm at Rapanui, a few miles north of the city. The cows, some of them in calf, were worth about $l2OO. They were found in their paddock this morning by Mr R. Handley and his son. All were in ah area about 40 yards square, near an electric fence. All apparently died instantly, but there were no marks on them.
