SCHOOLS GOLF

Sixteen teams, each of six players, and including the defending champion, Timaru Boys’ High School, will compete in the annual Canterbury secondary schools' golf tournament at the Harewood course tomorrow and Friday. Fifteen schools will be represented at the tournament, which will be held in two grades, and each team will compete in four rounds of match play. Timaru again has a strong team, but it will be strongly challenged for the trophy by Christchurch Boys’ High School A, Christ’s College, and St Bede’s College.
